Wendy Worth
Wendy Worth, Director, is a member of Actors' Equity
Association and the Screen Actors Guild, has appeared on Broadway, been a dancer
and singer in national tours, International engagements, Stock, Dinner Theater,
NY Showcases, and was a soloist with the Tucson Civic Ballet Company. She made
her film debut in Woody Allen's "Zelig," appeared on "One Life To Live,"
and in the System video on MTV. Her proudest role is that of mother of twin
eight year old boys.
Tim Jerome
Tim
Jerome was nominated for the Drama Desk and Tony Awards for his performance as
The Family Solicitor in Broadway’s ME AND MY GIRL. Also on Broadway, he was
featured in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (as Belle’s Father). MAN OF LA MANCHA, THE
ROTHSCHILDS, GRAND HOTEL, CATS, THE MAGIC SHOW and LOST IN YONKERS. Among his
regional theater credits, he appeared at the George Street Playhouse (New
Brunswick, NJ) as Seymour Blum in the World Premiere of A. R. Gurney’s HUMAN
EVENTS and as Otto Frank in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. At the Phoenix Theatre
(Purchase, NY), he played opposite Julie Harris in SONYA and opposite George
Grizzard in SULLIVAN AND GILBERT. He was a member of the Arena Stage
(Washington, D.C.) acting company for two years, originating roles in TINTYPES,
A 1940s RADIO HOUR and David Hare’s PLENTY. Film credits include: THIRTEEN DAYS,
CRADLE WILL ROCK, HUSBANDS AND WIVES, EVERYONE SAYS I LOVE YOU, CELEBRITY and
DECONSTRUCTING HARRY (Woody Allen), A PRICE ABOVE RUBIES, BILLY BATHGATE. On
radio: Tim has starred in over a dozen shows for Joe Frank’s Works in Progress
series, WBAI-Pacifica’s The Radio, Seeing Ear Theatre (SciFi.com) and several
audio dramas for WNYC’s The Next Big Thing. Tim’s company, National Music
Theater Network, Inc., presents regional programs of public staged readings of
new musicals called BroadwayUSA!
Eric Samson
Eric Samson is a Hip-Hop/Street Funk teacher and
performer. Eric has
taught in various studios throughout New Jersey and New York including Center
Stage, Rutgers University, Manhattan Motions, and Broadway Dance Center. Eric's
performing experience includes shows such
as Dance Jam 1999 in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center with Tom Mckie, The
Best of Broadway Dance Center Showcase 2000 and 2001 with Rhapsody and Sharlene
Adrias and various Rutgers University fashion and cultural shows. He has also
choreographed and performed in Broadway Dance Center's PFunk Dance Company 1999
and 2000.
Thomas McKie
Tom has entertained audiences professionally since
the early 1990’s. He currently teaches at
Rutgers
University
in
New Brunswick ,
New Jersey
and at various dance studios in
New Jersey
and
New York
. Due to his extensive experience, Tom is in demand to teach at conventions and
conduct Master classes and dance workshops throughout the
Eastern United States and
Canada
. Tom has recently expanded his reach to the international scene having recently
traveled to
Europe for the International Jazz Music and
Dance
Academy
. Tom also has great experience with ages seven to adults. Earlier in his
career, his interests in young people lead to the establishment of “Like Clock
Work” Dance Company based in
New Jersey
. His choreography has been seen on MTV, Showtime at the Apollo, Walt Disney
World And the Queen Latifah show. For those seeking opportunity in the field of
dance, Tom McKie provides professionalism, energy and expertise en route to
visualizing your dreams.
Nancy More
Nancy More was trained in Lake Worth, Florida since she
was a child. She has many years of teaching experience in the South as well as
in New Jersey. She has four children of her own - two boys and two girls -- who
also love to dance. Nancy is also part of a world wide dance ministry and has
been ordained in her church as a leader and teacher of liturgical dance. She
also coaches cheerleading and has choreographed many dances for competition
around the state as well as direct many children's plays in local school
theaters.
Cerisa Meunier
Cerisa
has been learning the art of belly dance for the past 6 years. She first studied
the cabaret style of belly dance in her native home of Utah. For the past few
years Cerisa has been focusing on American Tribal Style (ATS) of belly dance,
which is a fusion of different cultural dance styles. Currently, Cerisa is a
member of the belly dance troupe Fringe Benefit of New Jersey.
Karen Hyland
Karen is a successul member of Actors Equity
Association, as well as the American Guild of Variety Artists. Most
recently she performed in the Atlantic City company of 42nd Street. Other
credits include, the european tour of Grease (Patty), the national tour of
Joseph... (wife), and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Karen has also
performed in the following shows at many well known regional theatres acroos the
country: All Night Strut (principal alto), Anything Goes (Virtue), Chicago
(June), Annie (star to be), Gypsy (Mazeppa), A Chorus Line (Sheila), and Pippin
(Fastrada). But her love of teaching has led her to several studios in the
tri-state area! She also has been successful in choreography assisting on
such shows as Fright Fest (New Jersey), and the off Broadway show Strictly
Academic.
Tom Andolora
Tom
holds a BFA in Musical Theatre. Aside from being a performer, he is a a
composer, writer, teacher and musical director. His musical “Ain’t Missin’
Dinner!” has been performed in NYC and regionally. His solo cabaret act “Fun and
Games” was chosen as a top ten cabaret act the year it was performed. He
is director and owner of The Dickens Victorian Carollers, www.Carollers.com.
He has been invited to sing, with his group at the White House for Three
Administrations, The Reagans, Bush’s and Clinton’s. He was Musical
Director of the original production of “Hiroshima”(music by Yoko Ono)
which won the Kennedy Center Award for Best American Play 1997. He is a
founding member, and on the board of directors of The Oxford-Shakespeare
Theatre, www.osctheatre.org.
He is happy to have been musical director and teacher for the National Theatre
Workshop of the Handicapped for two years. Tom lives in New York City.
Kotoe Kojima
Born in Japan, on June 26 1983, Kotoe came to the US
when she was 1 year old. She studied with Leonid Kozlov (former principal dancer
with NYC ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet) for about 7 years. Studied with
Valentina Kozlova (former principal dancer with the NYC Ballet and Bolshoi
Ballet). Studied with Diana White (former soloist with NYC ballet). Studied at
School of American Ballet in Lincoln Center, and Boston Ballet. Currently
working with the New Jersey Ballet Company. Kotoe has danced from Corps to
principal roles in Giselle, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Flames of Paris,
contemporary pieces (Gospel, Tango, Surrender to Love, So Far, Death and the
Maiden), Esmeralda, Don Quixote, Paquita, and more.

Ashley Ruhl
Ashley Ruhl began her professional
aspirations at the age of 10, participating in summer intensive programs with
the School of American Ballet in New York City, The Rock School of Pennsylvania
in Philadelphia, and The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. At 16, she
was awarded a full scholarship to participate in the Harid Conservatory's year
round dance program. The following year, she moved to Philadelphia on full
scholarship with the Rock School of Pennsylvania. She performed lead roles in
original works by Christopher Fleming and other guest choreographers.
During this year, she also performed with The Pennsylvania Ballet in The
Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night's Dream. In July 2001, Ashley was
asked to join Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah where she began her
professional career. She performed with the company in several ballets including
Who Cares?, Les Sylphide, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and
Miss Julie and Swan Lake. Ashley moved back home to New Jersey in April
of 2003 to teach and choreograph while recuperating from an injury.
Steve Konopelski
Steve
Konopelski is thrilled to be teaching at Academy of Dance Arts this year.
He is a graduate of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Favorites
include; Swan Lake, Pas de Deux Romantique, and Don Quixote. Steve
recently made his Broadway debut in Hot Feet. Regional theater credits
include: Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble) Lyric Opera Baltimore; West Side Story
(Baby John/Big Deal) Lyric Opera Baltimore, AMT San Jose; Cats (Pouncival/Mistoffoleese)
Walnut Street Theater; Guys and Dolls (Ensemble) Paper Mill Playhouse.
Steve also performed with Spirit of the Dance, Irish Spectacular as part of the
Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, and US National Tour companies.

replaced or substituted throughout the year to allow them to fulfill
professional engagements that may subsequently arise. An equally qualified
individual will be hired in their place. This high caliber of teacher/performer
would not be available to us otherwise.
